Grow Spiritually
People often seek out a church in response to an inner desire for something “more” than their lives offer. Community Christian Church is a community in which spiritual seekers are welcomed and encouraged to explore and develop their faith, their understanding of who God is and how best to respond to the holy in everyday life.
Small groups to connect with others, fun social activities, book and movie clubs, singing in a choir, and service projects, all provide opportunities for spiritual growth, since often in relationship with others we are opened to the Holy Spirit. Time in silence or time on retreat can help quiet the mind’s chatter and turn our attention to the Spirit’s promptings. Growing spiritually usually involves feeling comfortable and feeling stretched at the same time, so support for spiritual growth is important.
